CAMBRIDGE, Mass. Missile Defense Agency (MDA) officials tapped developer of intelligent systems solutions, Charles River Analytics Inc., for a follow-on contract to build a game-based training tool.

Under contract, Charles River engineers will develop the Remediation for Adaptive Missile Planning through Gamified Resilience Training (RAMPART) tool under a two-year contract valued close to $1 million.

RAMPART provides broad and dynamic training scenarios generated with mixed-initiative scenario authoring. Trainees’ performance scores are calculated through a combination of targeted and system-level performance metrics, wargaming, and skill assessment.
