BAE Systems has received a contract modification to continue providing the U.S. Air Force with operation and maintenance support services for the Solid State Phased Radar System (SSPARS). The original award started in 2006, with the modification the contract is now extended another year and has an estimated value of $550 million.

The contract’s value is estimated to be $26.8 million, however, if all options are exercise it could be worth up to $32.6 million.
