Last fall Raytheon won a contract to be prime contractor on the Three-Dimensional Expeditionary Long-Range Radar (3DELRR). The other competitors weren't happy about it and filed a protest, then Raytheon filed a suit to block the protest. Last month a judge ruled in favor of the protesters so the drama will continue.

Officials at Lockheed Martin selected the latest generation of the Searchwater radar and Cerberus mission system from Thales Surveillance for use on the United Kingdom's Merlin helicopter. The Merlins are specially adapted to provide the Royal navy with an airborne surveillance and control capability (ASaC).
DALLAS. The U.S. Army and the United Arab Emirates entered into contract with Lockheed Martin for the production of their Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS), a tactical long-range precision-strike surface-to-surface weapon system. The contract, a Foreign Military Sales, is estimated to be $174 million.
ORLANDO, Fla. The F-16 fleet of the Romanian Air Force (RoAF) and Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) receive an advanced sensor capability. They become the 18th and 19th international customers as they select Lockheed Martin’s Sniper Advanced Targeting Pod (ATP) for their F-16 aircraft.
OREM, Utah. After the devastation of cyclone Pam, the Vanuatu government and the World Bank contacted Australian operator Heliwest to deploy Lockheed Martin’s Indago, a small unmanned aerial system (UAS). Unmanned systems can provide damage assessment information on disaster relief missions and the Indago collected images over a two-week period that provided the necessary data to operators.
WASHINGTON. Lockheed Martin heads the industry team on the construction and procurement of a Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) where the U.S. Navy just issued a contract modification with a value at $362 million and an additional $79 million for a second ship. The remaining balance will be funded by the end of the year.
