SUNNYVALE, CA. Lockheed Martin engineers completed and delivered the new software waveform for the U.S. Navy’s Mobile User Objective System (MUOS). The U.S. government has made the waveform available for military satellite communications terminal providers via the Joint Tactical Networking Center (JTNC) Information Repository. Contractors also may integrate the waveform into their MUOS-compatible terminals to deploy WCDMA capabilities for their users.

Ground-based laser defense system tested against UAS, rockets by Lockheed Martin - News

SUNNYVALE, CA. Lockheed Martin has successfully tested and demonstrated the Area Defense Anti-Munitions (ADAM) system, a portable ground-based laser system designed as a countermeasure against short-range airborne threats such as Unmanned Aerial Systems (UASs) and rockets. The testing, which began at a simulated flight range in August, saw the ADAM military laser system successfully engage an in-flight UAS target at an approximate range of 1.5 km and destroy four small-caliber rocket targets at an approximate range of 1.2 km.

Lockheed Martin FOPEN recon radar with moving object detection successfully tested - News

WASHINGTON – A Lockheed Martin Foliage-Penetrating (FOPEN) radar technology with the ability to detect slow-moving objects has been approved for further testing. Incorporating the Ground/Dismounted-Moving Target Indication (GMTI/DMTI) technology into a Tactical Reconnaissance and Counter-Concealment-Enabled Radar (TRACER), a U.S. Army test range team displayed the system’s ability to consistently detect moving vehicles and troops that were foliage obscured from a 300-foot tower and ground level. The system will now be integrated into a modular pod for testing on Predator-B or Blackhawk helicopter platforms.
