WOODBRIDGE, Va. Information-technology and cybersecurity systems integration company Sev1Tech won a $49 million contract under the SeaPort NxG procurement vehicle -- which aims to streamline and enhance the acquisition of engineering, technical, and programmatic support services -- from the U.S. Navy’s Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic.

ANDOVER, Mass. Raytheon (an RTX business) signed an agreement with the German government to provide the Raytheon-built SPY-6(V)1 radar for installation on eight of its F127 frigates under a requested foreign military sales (FMS) contract with the U.S. Navy, making Germany the first international customer for SPY-6.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. Vessel-construction company Tote Services won a firm-fixed-price contract with the U.S. Navy, worth as much as $311.4 million, to support the operations and maintenance of the Navy's Sea-Based X-Band Radar (SBX-1), which is a semi-submersible, self-propelled platform that provides ballistic missile tracking information for the U.S. Missile Defense Agency (MDA). 

Syracuse, N.Y. Defense research and development company SRC announced that it agreed to deliver a suite of its advanced counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS) technologies to international buyers as a part of a $1 billion foreign military sales (FMS) agreement between the U.S. government and the state of Qatar. 

NORFOLK, Va. The U.S. Navy reported that the USS Delaware -- a Virginia-class attack submarine -- successfully executed the first-ever forward-deployed submarine torpedo tube launch and recovery of an unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) to complete a tactical objective, using the Yellow Moray UUV, marking a major technological milestone in autonomous system development.

PARIS AIR SHOW. Curtiss-Wright announced at the now-underway Paris Air Show that it won a $31 million ID/IQ contract with the U.S. Navy to supply airborne mission processors (AMPs) for the Triton uncrewed aerial system (UAS). 

ANDOVER, Mass. Raytheon (an RTX business) reports that it signed an agreement with the U.S. Navy worth $646 million to continue producing AN/SPY-6(V) radars for Navy ships; this is the fourth option exercised from the March 2022 hardware, production and sustainment contract that is valued up to $3 billion over five years.
