EAST CHINA SEA. U.S. Navy officials announced then first deployment of the F-35B Lightning II with a naval ship and a Marine Expeditionary Unit in the Indo-Pacific. For the first time, a detachment of F-35B Lightning II's with Fighter Attack Squadron 121 (VMFA-121) arrived aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) on March 5th.

U.S. Navy adds USS Manchester to the LCS fleet - News

MOBILE, Ala. U.S. Navy officials accepted delivery of the littoral combat ship (LCS), USS Manchester (LCS-14). Delivery marks the official transfer of LCS 14 from the shipbuilder, an Austal USA-led team, to the Navy. It is the final milestone prior to commissioning, which is planned for May in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
