TUCSON, Ariz. Raytheon Missiles & Defense, a Raytheon Technologies business, has announced the StormBreaker smart weapon has been approved for use on the F-15E by the U.S. Air Force's Air Combat Command. The fielding decision means that F-15E squadrons can now be equipped with StormBreaker and deployed for missions, according to Raytheon.

Collins Aerospace Systems (a unit of Raytheon Technologies) has won a contract from the U.S. Army to provide Mounted Assured Positioning, Navigation and Timing System (MAPS Gen II) for manned and unmanned ground vehicles to oppose positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) threats.

POWAY, Calif. General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) has won a $950 million ceiling Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for the maturation, demonstration, and proliferation of capability across platforms and domains, leveraging open systems design, modern software and algorithm development in order to enable Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2).

SAUDI ARABIA. The U.S. Navy awarded Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) a $49.5 million single-award task order to continue to provide the Royal Saudi Naval Forces support services for command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) upgrade and refurbishment. Work will take place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

CENTREVILLE, Va. Parsons Corporation was awarded the SharkSeer 2.0 task order under the Defense Information Systems Agency's (DISA) Systems Engineering, Technology, and Innovation (SETI) contract. The firm-fixed price contract includes one base year and four option years, which, if exercised, will provide for a total potential value of $28 million.

BEALE AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. The U-2 Federal Laboratory has leveraged Kubernetes during a local training sortie on a U-2 Dragon Lady assigned to the 9th Reconnaissance Wing at Beale Air Force Base. This represents the first time Kubernetes has flown on an operational major weapon system in the Department of Defense (DoD).

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. Boeing and the U.S. Space Force completed the first major engineering design review for the Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS)-11+ communications satellite. This review demonstrates that Boeing is ready to proceed to the final system design phase. Production will begin next year at Boeing’s El Segundo factory, with delivery scheduled for 2024.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. A-Tech Corporation, doing business as Applied Technology Associates (ATA), has won a $17,663,490 other transaction prototype project agreement to obtain a ground-based Directed Energy Weapon (DEW) prototype for the purpose of fixed-site Air Force Air Base Air Defense against Group 1 and Group 2 unmanned aerial system (UAS) threats.

ORLANDO. Software company Mass Virtual has won a five-year, $59 million contract to provide virtual training in partnership with the U.S. Air Force (USAF) Integrated Technology Platform (ITP); first orders totaling $8.1 million are scheduled to be completed by end of FY 2021.

Elbit Systems of America has won a five-year firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a maximum value of approximately $50 million for the production of spare parts in support of the Aviators' Night Vision Imaging System/Head-Up Display system (ANVIS HUD).
