Global electronics components company, Molex Incorporated, has announced the acquisition of FCT Electronics Group, a company that specializes in designing and producing cable assemblies and custom mixed layout connectors. The acquisition is expected to assist Molex's expansion into the global aerospace, industrial, medical electronics, and telecom industries.

Supacat showcases LRV 400 at DSEI 2013 - News

LONDON. Supacat has presented the Light Reconnaissance Vehicle (LRV) 400 at the Defence Security and Equipment International (DSEI) 2013 conference in London, UK. The LRV 400 has a maximum speed of 170 km/h (105 mph) and a range of 1000 km (620 m), with an ability to carry payloads up to 1400 kg (3,086 lbs), and is designed for border patrol, light strike missions, rapid intervention, reconnaissance, and special forces.

Apache radar systems from LONGBOW ordered by Republic of Korea - News

LONDON. The Republic of Korea ordered fire control radars (FCRs) for the AH-64E Apache attack helicopter from LONGBOW, LLC, a joint venture between Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman. It is a foreign military sales contract valued at $51 million. The announcement was made during the DSeI show in London this week.

Boeing completes C-17 Globemaster III contract with US Air Force - News

LONG BEACH. Boeing has fulfilled its 20-year contract with the US Air Force to deliver 223 C-17 Globemaster III airlifters. The strategic airlifter is able to fly between continents and deliver airdrop supplies, and has been used to transport troops in wartime and supplies in humanitarian efforts, such as Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and Operation Iraqi Freedom and Hurricane Katrina and the earthquake in Haiti, respectively.
