REDONDO BEACH, Calif. The Critical Design Review (CDR) for the information assurance elements of the Low Cost Terminal (LCT) program has been completed. The team – Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, and TeleCommunication Systems (TCS) – can move forward to producing hardware and software for the information assurance element or end cryptographic unit.

Cobham releases new rad-hard analog multiplexers - News

BOSTON. Cobham Semiconductor Solutions (formerly Aeroflex) released the RHD8541 64-Channel Analog Mux this week at the Nuclear and Space Radiation Effects Conference in Boston this week. The device, part of Cobham's RadHard-by-Design Analog family, is now RHA certified and in QML production.

USS Iwo Jima to enter phased maintenance period with BAE Systems - News

BAE Systems has been selected to implement a phased maintenance contract for the USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7), a Wasp-class amphibious assault ship, which is scheduled to begin August 2015 and to conclude by July 2016. The contract’s value is estimated to be $26.8 million, however, if all options are exercise it could be worth up to $32.6 million.

It integrates mission, weapons, and video processing capabilities into a conduction-cooled airborne computer that is able to drive four multi-function displays.
