The proliferation of small, low-cost uncrewed aerial systems (UASs) has transformed the threat landscape for military and civilian infrastructure worldwide.

This week’s product, the Epiq Solutions Matchstiq V40, is a software-defined radio (SDR) and signal-processing platform that combines an Analog Devices AD9084 MxFE RF front end with an AMD Versal Adaptive SoC [system-on-chip]. Together they form a low-latency platform with as much as 2 GHz of instantaneous bandwidth, large numbers of definable digital down-converters (DDCs) and digital up-converters (DUCs), fast frequency hopping, and an extremely fast sweep speed.

This week’s product, the Epiq Solutions Matchstiq Z4, is a software-defined radio (SDR) and signal-processing platform suited for small-form-factor applications with stringent size, weight, and power (SWaP) requirements for applications like small UxS (uncrewed) payloads, jamming/electronic attack, and counter-UxS, among other mission critical systems. The SDR builds on Epiq’s Matchstiq Z2 and Z3u models, which are valued for their small size, weight, and power consumption (SWaP) combined with on-board processing to enable self-contained signal acquisition without the need for an external host.

This week’s product, the Epiq Solutions NDR504, is a small 40 GHz 4-channel COTS [commercial off-the-shelf] downconverter that enables easy system extensions. The NDR504 enables access to 40 GHz in a low-SWaP [size, weight, and power] form factor, which provides flexibility for installation near any antenna aperture: on the ground, on unmanned systems, and in airborne environments.

This week’s product, the Epiq Solutions Matchstiq X40, is a software-defined radio (SDR) and signal-processing platform designed for small form factor applications with size, weight, and power (SWaP) requirements, such as autonomous system payloads. This SDR platform combines a high-performance NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 16GB module with access to as much as 18 GHz of RF frequencies for military applications such as spectrum awareness, manpack and dismount, direction-finding, and more.
