General Dynamics Information Technology won a task order to provide information technology (IT) management services supporting U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Middle East District reconstruction and infrastructure-development programs in Afghanistan. The task order is under the Information Technology Enterprise Solutions-2 Services (ITES-2S) contract and has a potential contract value of $16 million over eighteen months if all the options are exercised.

WASHINGTON. The Pentagon has signed a contract with General Dynamics to build Ground Mobility Vehicles 1.1 (GMV 1.1) for the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract has a potential value of $562 million, and allows USSOCOM to submit separate delivery orders as needed. The firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract is scheduled to run through September 2020.

ST. LOUIS – The Type 4 Advanced Mission Computer (AMC) has been successfully flight tested for use in the EA-18G Growler and F/A-18E/F Super Hornet by the U.S. Navy and Boeing. The mission computer, supplied by General Dynamics, has increased computing power and will improve image and mission processing for Distributed Targeting Systems, Infrared Search and Track, and high-definition touch-screen displays, among other systems.
