General Dynamics C4 Systems and Samsung are teaming to provide Samsung Approved for Enterprise (SAFE?) smartphones and tablet devices with General Dynamics defense-level information and cyber security technologies. The SAFE tablets and smartphones also have the Samsung Secure Android platform and will a cost-effective commercial technology solution for for military and government agencies, law enforcement and public safety, as well as financial, utility, and other industry personnel who need to be able to browse the Internet and access secure networks.

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. ? A small model of the Knifefish Unmanned Undersea Vehicle (UUV) was unveiled by General Dynamics and U. S. Navy officials at the 2012 Sea-Air-Space Exposition. The Knifefish Surface Mine Countermeasure UUV is a heavyweight-class, minehunting, unmanned undersea vehicle planned for deployment by forward operating forces, and will be a key part of the Littoral Combat Ship Mine Countermeasures Mission Package.

Engineers at General Dynamics C4 Systems completed the first secure voice and data communications demonstration via the Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) satellite-communications waveform. The demo used the Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) Handheld, Manpack, Small Form Fit (HMS) two-channel networking radio (AN/PRC-155).
