PARDUBICE, Czech Republic. Hensoldt and ERA, which produce Air Traffic Control and passive surveillance systems, have formed a strategic partnership to advance air surveillance and defense technology on behalf of the German Luftwaffe, according to a joint statement.

This development comes within six months after the first unit delivery, which is intended to boost Ukraine's defense capabilities.

The radars are part of a €100 million order, and will be delivered in the latter half of 2023, following the completion of operator training in Ukraine.
