MUNICH, Germany. Airbus Defence and Space will acquire INFODAS, a German firm specializing in cybersecurity and IT solutions that serves the public sector and focuses on defense and critical infrastructure, the company announced in a statement.

NUREMBERG, Germany. Diehl Defence, in partnership with Hensoldt and Airbus, has delivered the second unit of the IRIS-T SLM air defense system to Ukraine, the company announced in a statement. This development comes within six months after the first unit delivery, which is intended to boost Ukraine's defense capabilities.

REDONDO BEACH, California. Northrop Grumman Corporation has announced that Airbus U.S. Space & Defense Inc. will be the commercial provider of 42 satellite platforms for its proliferated-LEO (low earth orbit) constellation, Northrop announced in a statement.

NETHERLANDS. Airbus will place a dedicated Ultra High Frequency (UHF) military communications hosted payload on board the EUTELSAT 36D telecommunications satellite. As a provider of military satellite communications (milsatcom) services in Europe, Airbus will aim to offer a new UHF communications service to the armed forces, particularly those of European countries and NATO allies.

EUROPE. The European Commission has selected a consortium of companies and research institutes to study the design of the future European quantum communication network, EuroQCI (quantum communication infrastructure). It will aim to enable ultra-secure communication between critical infrastructures and government institutions across the European Union.
