Apache test pilots take out moving targets with DAGR from Lockheed Martin - News

ORLANDO, Fla. The Direct Attack Guided Rocket (DAGR) from Lockheed Martin tracked and engaged a moving target from 3.5 kilometers during an Apache helicopter demonstration at Yuma Proving Ground, Ariz. Test pilots on an AH-64D Apache shot an inert DAGR round in high winds, designating the target via the helicopter?s lock-on-before-launch mode. The target -- a truck ? was moving at 25 miles per hour.

Final F-22 Raptor delivered to U.S. Air Force - News

MARIETTA, Ga. Lockheed Martin officials delivered today the final F-22 Raptor ? 195th overall -- to U.S. Air Force. The delivery was concluded in an official ceremony at Lockheed Martin?s facility in Marietta, Ga., with various government and local officials as well as the Lockheed Martin employees that helped build the F-22 Raptor fleet.

MEADS X-Band radar starts system-level integration testing - News

ROME, ITALY. The first Medium Extended Air Defense System (MEADS) Multifunction Fire Control Radar (MFCR) started testing at Pratica di Mare Air Force Base, which is just outside of Rome, Italy. The system-level tests help the system prepare for an intercept flight test later this year. The advanced 360-degree rotating X-band radar finished initial performance tests at a near-field facility at SELEX Sistemi Integrati SpA in Rome. At Pratica di Mare, program engineers will start system-level integration tests using a MEADS battle manager and launcher.

GPS integration benchmark completed by Raytheon, Lockheed Martin - News

AURORA, Colo. Officials at Lockheed Martin and Raytheon announced that the two companies finished the first integration benchmark between the Raytheon Global Positioning System (GPS) Next Generation Operational Control System (OCX) and GPS III satellite system from Lockheed Martin.
