CompactPCI Serial reaches out into space - Story

Recently, the U.S.-based Internet service provider OneWeb ordered 900 satellites to provide additional global broadband. Knowing that this volume is more than half of the total 1,400 satellites already in orbit, and knowing that the cost for sending one into space is about $100 million, the industry needs to start thinking about new technologies that could help manage the mass of satellites that must be produced every year.

CompactPCI multi-display controller with AMD Radeon GPU tech announced by MEN Mikro - News

NUREMBERG, Germany. A new 3U CompactPC multi-display controller -- the G214 -- that can manage six displays simultaneously was announced by officials at MEN Mikro Elektronik Gmbh at the Embedded World show in Nuremberg, Germany this week. The new device leverages the AMD Radeon E6760 General Purpose Processor (GPU) running at 600 megahertz.
