AUSTIN, Texas. ViaSat engineers in Carlsbad, California, developed a single-port 100 Gbps encryption device built to scale from 10 to 40 to 100 Gbps, enabling users to migrate their security infrastructure, as the demand for more bandwidth increases. ViaSat representatives and experts from the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) will be demonstrating the product family this week in Austin, Texas at SC15 (Supercomputer Conference).
CARLSBAD, Calif. BAE Systems, UK chose ViaSat Inc., to deliver the Small Tactical Terminal (STT) KOR-24 for installation on the Cobham Falcon 20 to support Link 16 network pre-deployment training. The STT, which was co-developed by ViaSat and Harris Corp., is a certified VHF/UHF and Link 16 two-channel radio that is authorized for transmission in the UK airspace on any platform that has the same clearance approval.
CARLSBAD. ViaSat won a contract from the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) for the design, development, and production of a cryptographic module (LCM) for the Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS) Low Volume Terminal (MIDS-LVT) Block Upgrade 2. SPAWAR officials awarded the contract on behalf of the MIDS Program Office (MPO) (JPEOJTRS10).
