Department of Defense (DoD) officials tasked Serco Inc. to continue to provide installation support for Close-In Weapons Systems (CIWS) on U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, and U.S. Coast Guard vessels. This single-award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract has a one-year base period plus four one-year option periods, with a ceiling value of $51 million, if all option years are exercised.
