Phase noise analyzer and VCO tester announced at IMS 2015 - News

PHOENIX. Rhode & Schwarz FSWP’s phase noise analyzer and VCO tester was announced at the International Microwave Symposium (IMS) 2015 show this week. The R&S FSWP enables ultrasensitive and ultra-fast phase noise measurements. It also has the option of being upgraded to a signal and spectrum analyzer.

Cockpit display showing sonic boom over land to be developed by NASA and Rockwell Collins - News

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa. NASA officials tasked engineers at Rockwell Collins to develop a conceptual cockpit display that will enable a visual representation of sonic boom over the Earth’s surface to reduce the impact on populated areas. Under the two-year contract NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center will lead the research, working with experts at Rockwell Collins’ Advanced Technology Center.

ATACMS missiles contract goes to Lockheed Martin for $174 million - News

The U.S. Army and the United Arab Emirates entered into contract with Lockheed Martin for the production of their Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS), a tactical long-range precision-strike surface-to-surface weapon system. The contract, a Foreign Military Sales, is estimated to be $174 million.

U.S. Navy's Air and Defense Radar on track, meets performance requirements - News

TEWKSBURY, Mass. Raytheon and the U.S. Navy completed a critical design review (CDR) on the AN/SPY-6 (V) Air and Missile Defense Radar (AMDR) for the DDG-51 Flight III ships. The results meet radar performance requirements as well as show they are on schedule, within cost, and on track.

ATLANTA. The completion of flight tests of the Multiple Intruder Autonomous Avoidance (MIAA) program was announced during AUVSI Unmanned Systems show in Atlanta. The tests conducted by the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratories (AFRL) demonstrated the Department of Defense’s (DOD) Multiple Sensor Integrated Conflict Avoidance (MuSICA), a collision avoidance software.
