BAE Systems to build, deliver frigates for Australian naval fleet in $25.7 billion deal - News

EDINBURGH, Australia. BAE Systems has been selected by the Australian government as the preferred tenderer for the SEA 5000 program to deliver nine future frigates for the Royal Australian Navy. The overall announced program is expected to be in the region of AU $35 billion (approximately $25.7 billion) for the design, build, and support of the ships.
