The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has awarded contracts to five research organizations and one company that will support its Neural Engineering System Design (NESD) program, which aims to develop an implantable neural interface able to provide precise communication between the human brain and the digital world. DARPA had previously reported that it expected to spend as much as $60 million on the NESD program.

MDA, Army complete missile defense test with THAAD system - News

KODIAK, Alaska. U.S. Missile Defense Agency engineers with support by the U.S. Army and the Ballistic Missile Defense System Operational Test Agency completed a flight test of the Lockheed Martin-built Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system. This was the 14th intercept in 14 attempts for the THAAD system since 2005, officials say.
