Northrop Grumman extends partnership with Bell Helicopter to supply LCR-100 AHRS navigation systems - News

ANAHEIM, CA. Northrop Grumman has extended their partnership with Bell Helicopter to supply LCR-100 Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS) flight control and navigation systems for the Bell 412 helicopter. The agreement is through 2017.

Boeing IIF-5 GPS satellite sends first signals from space - News

EL SEGUNDO, CA. The fifth Boeing IIF GPS satellite was successfully launched from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida aboard a United Launch Alliance Delta IV rocket and sent its first signals from space yesterday, February 20. These five satellites are improving navigation, position, and timing information for civilian and military users around the globe.

EL SEGUNDO, CA. Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems officials announced a new mission area dubbed Electronic Warfare Systems that combines several of the company's Electronic Warfare (EW) programs. The new group will be based in El Segundo, CA and consists of the following programs/products: EW self protection systems; airborne information operations; Next Generation Jammer; advanced EW programs; EW communications systems; and other EW pursuits.

SCOTTSDALE, AZ. – A General Dynamics C4 Systems-led team was part of the critical design review of the Aviation Command and Control Subsystem (AC2S), which is a part of the U.S. Marine Corps’ new Common Aviation Command and Control System (CAC2S). Company engineers will now build four AC2S engineering development models (EDM) for use in a CAC2S system for developmental testing and operational assessment.

Air Force centers to integrate air operations and missile defense with Lockheed Martin software planner - News

DENVER. Lockheed Martin engineers developed a software planner that will integrate air operations and missile defense systems, providing the Air Force with the ability to see and better understand dynamic global scenarios. The contract was awarded by the U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center and is worth about $8 million to provide an air and missile defense planner that will then be integrated into the U.S. Air Force Air Operations Center.
