Nano-drone company Prox Dynamics bought by FLIR - News

WILSONVILLE, Oregon. FLIR Systems, Inc. officials announced today that the company has bought Prox Dynamics AS of Oslo Norway, a developer and manufacturer of nano-class unmanned aerial systems (UAS) for about $134 million in cash. The Prox Dynamics business will become FLIR's Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) line of business operating within the company's Surveillance segment.

The U.S. Navy has awarded BAE Systems an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to perform post-construction work aboard the guided-missile destroyers USS Zumwalt (DDG 1000) and USS Michael Monsoor (DDG 1001). The contract's initial award is worth $10.3 million and carries a maximum value of $192.7 million for work performed through September 2021.
