While there does not appear to be an end to sequestration any time soon, the President’s Fiscal Year (FY) 2016 budget re-quest for the Department of Defense (DoD) shows an increase over 2015: For FY 2016, the Department is requesting base budget funding totaling $534.3 billion, an increase of $38.2 billion from the FY 2015 enacted budget of $496.1 billion.

Raytheon and TELDAT engineers completed the Critical Design Review (CDR) phase of their effort to co-develop and co-produce advanced militarized routers for the Patriot Air and Missile Defense system for Poland, which validates the TELDAT design's capability to meet all Patriot system requirements and also enables the company to move into the manufacturing and design qualification phase of the program.
