SYRACUSE, N.Y. Lockheed Martin engineers completed a demonstration of its prototype Three-Dimensional Expeditionary Long-Range Radar (3DELRR)-range for the U.S. Air Force. It will replace the Air Force's AN/TPS-75 air search radar and become the principal long-range, ground-based sensor for detecting, identifying, and reporting airborne targets.

Engineers at Intersil Corp. in Milpitas, CA announced a new radiation-hardened (rad-hard) ultra low dropout linear regulator -- the ISL75052SEH -- at the Nuclear Space and Radiation Effects Conference (NSREC) in San Francisco this week. The device is single output LDO that is specified for an output current as high as 1.5A.
