SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. Engineers at General Dynamics C4 Systems completed the first secure voice and data communications demonstration via the Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) satellite-communications waveform. The demo used the Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) Handheld, Manpack, Small Form Fit (HMS) two-channel networking radio (AN/PRC-155).

Officials at Northrop Grumman - Aerospace Systems tasked BAE Systems engineers to provide Electronic Support Measure (ESM) systems to be used on all 20 B-2 Spirit bombers. This electronic warfare upgrade will replace the current AN/APR-50 system.
