EUROPE. Airbus and OneWeb have signed a distribution partner agreement to provide low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite communication (SATCOM) services for military and governmental use.

NETHERLANDS. Airbus will place a dedicated Ultra High Frequency (UHF) military communications hosted payload on board the EUTELSAT 36D telecommunications satellite. As a provider of military satellite communications (milsatcom) services in Europe, Airbus will aim to offer a new UHF communications service to the armed forces, particularly those of European countries and NATO allies.

FRANCE. The French defense procurement agency (DGA) has awarded Thales and Airbus a contract for the new joint tactical signals intelligence (SIGINT) system to upgrade the French forces' critical signals monitoring, direction finding, and spectrum analysis capabilities.

OSLO, Norway. OnTime Networks, company specializing in rugged, Ethernet solutions for the aerospace and defense industry, announced the selection of its Ultra-Rugged Airborne CR-6228 28-Port GbE/10GbE Switch and Router by Airbus for the A330 Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft.

AUSTRALIA. Airbus has been selected by the Commonwealth of Australia (CoA) to develop a Communications and Mission System modernization upgrade for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) A330 Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) fleet.

NETHERLANDS. Airbus has won a contract for the development, supply, and integration of 115 Eurofighter ESCAN Radars for the German and Spanish Eurofighter fleet. According to the company, it marks the largest order for the electronically scanned array radar, Captor-E, thus far. The contract signature followed the approval by both governments in recent weeks.

GETAFE. The Airbus A400M new generation airlifter has achieved a new decisive milestone after the certification of its Automatic Low Level Flight capability, offering a unique-in-its-class capability for a military transport aircraft.
