Teledyne FLIR, part of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated, announced it has won a contract to develop a mass-wearable chemical detector for U.S. troops under the Pentagon’s Compact Vapor Chemical Agent Detector (CVCAD) program. The company received $4.0 million in initial funding.

Teledyne Technologies Inc. announced that its subsidiary, Teledyne Brown Engineering (TBE) in Huntsville, Ala., was awarded a sole source contract from the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) for the follow-on production of MK11 Shallow Water Combat Submersible (SWCS) Systems. The contract, including all options, is valued at $178 million.
