BEND, Ore. UAV Factory has announced the release of Penguin C Mk2 system – a small tactical unmanned aerial system (UAS). Penguin C Mk2 completed its validation flight program and the company has begun delivering the platform to its customers. 

SELFRIDGE AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Mich. QinetiQ Inc. and Pratt Miller Defense announced the delivery of the first Robotic Combat Vehicle – Light (RCV-L) to the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC). The RCV-L is a purpose-built hybrid-electric unmanned ground combat vehicle (UGCV) integrating technology from both organizations.

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. Aery Aviation, LLC is the Managing Member of a Joint Venture (JV) that has won the five-year U.S. Navy high-endurance electronic warfare jet (HEEWJ) contract by Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) for a Firm Fixed Price of $146 million. The contract was awarded to Strategic Airborne Operations JV, LLC, which is a JV between Aery and Mountain Aviation LLC.

BETHESDA, Md. The fourth Lockheed Martin-built Global Positioning System III (GPS III) satellite is now headed to orbit under its own propulsion. GPS III Space Vehicle 04 (GPS III SV04) separated from its rocket and is now using onboard power to reach its operational orbit.

HERNDON, Va. Peraton has won a $950 million ceiling indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the maturation, demonstration, and proliferation of capability across platforms and domains, leveraging open systems design, modern software, and algorithm development in order to enable Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2).
