HAIFA, Israel. Elbit Systems won a contract worth about $1.4 billion from a European customer for military modernization programs, the company announced in a statement.

ARLINGTON, Va. Raytheon Corp. won a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and the Office of Naval Research (ONR) to develop Raytheon’s “Subarray Transmit Orthogonality for Receive Multiplexing” or "STORM" radar software program. which the company says will provide “for the expansion and exploitation of transmit multiplexing" for the SPY-6 family of naval radars and enable the radars to operate independently while simultaneously allowing a single radar to perform multiple missions. 

POWAY, Calif. Rugged-computing company Core Systems, announced that it won a contract with the U.S. Army to supply the ATMOS2 Tactical Edge Computer in support of the U.S. Army Command and Control – Now (C2NOW) program.

LINKÖPING, Sweden. Saab reports that its airborne early-warning sensor, LoyalEye, successfully completed its first flight on an uncrewed aircraft -- the General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) MQ-9B aircraft -- on May 19, marking the initial flight of the world’s first uncrewed airborne early warning (AEW) platform.
