NEW YORK, New York. Persistent Systems won an $87.5 million U.S. Army order for mobile ad hoc network (MANET) devices supporting the transport layer for the Army’s Next-Generation Command and Control (NGC2) prototype, the company announced in a statement.

OBERKOCHEN, Germany. Hensoldt won orders valued at more than €400 million from KNDS to provide digital optronics for the Boxer RCT 30 wheeled armored vehicle, known as Schakal, and the Leopard 2 A8 main battle tank, the company announced in a statement.

ORLANDO, Florida. Lockheed Martin won a $328.5 million Foreign Military Sales production contract from the U.S. government to supply IRST21 Legion-ES infrared search-and-track (IRST) sensor systems for the Taiwan Air Force, the company announced in a statement.

LONDON. Ultra Maritime signed a £40 million ($54.67 million) contract from the U.K. Ministry of Defense (MoD) to deliver sonobuoys for the British navy's Merlin maritime patrol helicopter

OSLO, Norway. Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace and consortium partner Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa have signed a contract with Poland’s Armaments Agency to deliver counter-uncrewed aerial system (C-UAS) capabilities under the SAN CUAS program, the company announced in a statement.

NEW DELHI, India. Shield AI says the Indian Army has selected the company to supply V-BAT uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) along with licenses for its Hivemind autonomy software to be integrated onto the aircraft, the company announced in a statement.

PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania. Boeing will build four additional MH-139A Grey Wolf helicopters and provide related sustainment for the U.S. Air Force under a contract award that brings cumulative program awards to more than $262 million, the company announced in a statement.

International defense systems company Intracom Defense (IDE) recently was granted approval by the NATO Accelerating Interoperability and Standardization (AIS) Fund to embark on a new project called “Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USV) Standardization: Current Status and Future Outlook,” with the goal of accelerating standardization of USVs by providing guidelines and recommendations to NATO for steering related standardization activities.
