SOF WEEK 2026--Tampa, Fla. Tactical uncrewed aerial system (UAS) company Redwire Corp. announced that it won a multiyear contract valued at "high eight figures" to supply an undisclosed NATO country ally with its Penguin Mk3 UAS as part of an ongoing modernization program for that country’s tactical UAS capabilities.

ASHBURN, Va. Curtiss-Wright announced that it integrated the NATO-developed Cooperative Electronic Support Measure Operations (CESMO) tactical data link protocol directly into its flagship TCG LinkPRO tactical data link software.

International defense systems company Intracom Defense (IDE) recently was granted approval by the NATO Accelerating Interoperability and Standardization (AIS) Fund to embark on a new project called “Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USV) Standardization: Current Status and Future Outlook,” with the goal of accelerating standardization of USVs by providing guidelines and recommendations to NATO for steering related standardization activities. 

ROME, Italy. NATO’s Critical Undersea Infrastructure (CUI) Network convened in Rome to advance coordination between civilian and military organizations on safeguarding undersea infrastructure, the alliance announced in a statement.

LISBON, Portugal. The European Defence Agency (EDA), NATO, and the Portuguese Navy co-organized the 15th Robotic Experimentation and Prototyping using Maritime Unmanned Systems (REPMUS), which brought together 24 nations to test uncrewed platforms across sea, air, and land domains, the EDA announced in a statement.
