BRUSSELS, Belgium. Thales Belgium, WB Electronics, and AREX have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop a new remote weapon system equipped with 70mm rockets, the companies announced in a statement.

PARIS, France. Thales won a contract from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence through the French Ministry of the Armed Forces to supply Ukraine with a second air defense system to help the nation boost its territorial security, the company announced in a statement.

LA DÉFENSE, Paris. The European Commission signed a Grant Agreement for the launch of the STORE [Shared daTabase for Optronics image Recognition and Evaluation] collaborative research project, to be coordinated by Thales and funded by the EDF (European Defense Fund).

THE HAGUE, Netherlands. Dutch military procurement agency Command Materiel and IT (COMMIT) chose Thales to provide seven additional Ground Master 200 Multi-Mission Compact radars (GM200 MM/C), with an option to acquire two more, the company announced in a statement.

Thales developed and delivered the Expeditionary Portable Operations Centre (e-POC) to the French Navy, a project commissioned by the French defence procurement agency (DGA) and the Organisation for Joint Armament Cooperation (OCCAr) to conduct drone-based mine countermeasures missions, the company announced in a statement.

ROME. Aerospace and defense firm Leonardo has accepted a project from the Italian Ministry of Defense (through the contractual agency Teledife) that intends to use supercomputers, artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML), and cloud computing aboard a constellation of what it calls "cybersecure" satellites orbiting the earth.
