PARIS AIR SHOW. Pratt & Whitney (an RTX business) reports that it successfully completed a series of tests on its 3D printed TJ150 turbine wheel, which the company calls a "significant step forward" in its additive manufacturing capabilities, as the turbine wheel is one of the first rotating parts to be 3D printed.

PARIS AIR SHOW. Pratt & Whitney (an RTX business) announced at the Paris Air Show that it signed a contract with Dynetics (a Leidos company) to supply TJ150 engines that will be integrated with the Leidos "Black Arrow" small cruise missile. 

ANDOVER, Mass. Raytheon (an RTX business) reports that it signed an agreement with the U.S. Navy worth $646 million to continue producing AN/SPY-6(V) radars for Navy ships; this is the fourth option exercised from the March 2022 hardware, production and sustainment contract that is valued up to $3 billion over five years.

TUCSON, Ariz. Raytheon (an RTX business) won a contract worth $1.1 billion contract from the U.S. Navy to produce AIM-9X Block II missiles.

ANDOVER, Mass. Raytheon (an RTX business) announced that it won a $536 million contract from the U.S. Navy for its SPY-6 family of radars; the most recent contract is a follow-on to the previously awarded Integration and Production Support contract and includes upgrading Flight IIA destroyers with the SPY-6(V)4 variant, the company said.

NATIONAL HARBOR, Maryland. An RTX official at the Navy League's Sea-Air-Space symposium says that the Next Generation Jammer Mid-Band (NGJ-MB) system is expected to achieve a full-rate production decision as early as May, just months after reaching its initial operational capability (IOC) milestone in December.

ARLINGTON, Va. Raytheon reports that it won a follow-won contract from the U.S. Army Futures Command, Futures and Concepts Center under which the Army Futures Command will continue to use the Raytheon Rapid Campaign Analysis and Demonstration Environment (RCADE) modeling and simulation capability.
