Lockheed Martin, NASA, and U.S. Navy personnel participated in a simulated ocean recovery of an Orion spacecraft test article to practice recovery techniques for retrieving the crew module after it splashes down following its first test flight later in 2014. The test enabled the team to evaluate procedures, hardware, and personnel responsible for making the recovery.

Lockheed Martin gets extension on human spaceflight contract - News

Lockheed Martin won a three-year contract extension to provide facilities development and operations support of human spaceflight missions at NASA’s Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Houston. The contract lasts through at least September 30, 2016 with the extension valued at $340 million. The total contract value is now more than $1 billion.
