ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND -- U.S. ARMY FACILITY. The U.S. Army Project Director for Sensors – Aerial Intelligence (PD SAI) has signed agreements with L3 Harris and Raytheon business units to work on the next phase of the Army's High Accuracy Detection and Exploitation System (HADES) next-generation airborne intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) system that is intended to fly on an Army fixed-wing platform to be named later. 

SAN DIEGO, Calif. Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. announced that it has been named by the federal government as one of the first two Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Third Party Assessment Organizations (C3PAO). As a C3PAO, Kratos will be able to conduct CMMC Level 1-3 assessments once the government completes certain preparatory and authorization steps.

GERMANY. Sensor specialist HENSOLDT announced it will modernize the test equipment of the artillery location radar COBRA, which is in service with several NATO armies. Under the contract, HENSOLDT claims it will replace the COBRA Radar Environment Simulator (CRES), which is designed for determining optimum deployment and testing system performance.

FALLS CHURCH, Va. Northrop Grumman Corporation announced it has launched the Tactically Responsive Launch-2 (TacRL-2) payload into orbit for the U.S. Space Force (USSF), using the company’s Pegasus XL rocket. TacRL-2 was launched from Vandenberg Space Force Base.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. Harris Global Communications, a subsidiary of L3Harris Technologies, has won a firm-fixed-price contract worth $3.3 billion with the U.S. Army to supply and upkeep radios, communication equipment, plus ancillary and spare parts. 

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. Raytheon Technologies -- Intelligence and Space Division -- was awarded a contract worth as much as $3.12 billion to build upgraded radar systems for advanced versions of the F-15 Eagle jet fighter, according to an announcement from the F-15 Division Contracts Branch, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (Ohio).
