Radar systems from SRC to deploy on Polish armed fighting vehicles - News

SYRACUSE, NY. Technology and engineering company SRC Inc. has been tapped to supply the Polish military with 15 more of the SRC SR Hawk surveillance radar systems for installation aboard Poland's BWR-1D/S Reconnaissance Fighting Vehicles.

UAS leveraging DAA system for BVLOS operations gets FAA nod - News

KIRKLAND, Wash. Radar platform provider Echodyne announced that its EchoFlight radar is integrated into the American Aerospace Technologies, Inc. (AATI) AiRanger aircraft, which recently obtained a waiver from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) last week for commercial beyond-visual-line-of-sight (BVLOS) flight operations, which enables AATI to use the onboard detect-and-avoid (DAA) system to adhere to aircraft right-of-way rules during BVLOS operations. The waiver means that the AiRanger is the first uncrewed aircraft system (UAS) to meet industry consensus standards for the DAA system, the company says.

Autonomous aerial resupply drone to be tested by Leidos, Elroy Air for USMC - News

RESTON, Virginia. Leidos and Elroy Air will collaborate on a demonstration of an autonomous aerial resupply vehicle for the U.S. Marine Corps called the Medium Aerial Resupply Vehicle – Expeditionary Logistics (MARV-EL) prototype, which is set for flight testing in July 2024 at the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground in Arizona, the companies announced in a joint statement.
